Reporting directly to the CFO, the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis is an agent of change responsible for supporting business unit leadership with operational planning, business analytics, business forecasting, strategic financial analysis, integration of acquisitions, systems optimization, and other project related support.  The VP of FP&A provides high-value financial planning analysis and support for the business unit, working closely with business unit leadership, and works closely with ADCS FP&A team members and the Group CFO to insure cohesive support and alignment between the business unit and Group executive.  The VP of FP&A will be directly involved in the Merger & Acquisition activities of the business including assisting in the evaluation, purchasing, and integration of target companies.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide sophisticated financial analysis to business unit leadership, supporting strategic, operational and financial objectives. 
  • Analyze productivity drivers, identify risks and opportunities to business performance, work cross functionally to implement recommended actions.
  • Analyze the standard margins on a recurring basis and work with data management, sales and operations to understand the significant variations.
  • Develop and manage Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting across the organization.
  • Direct monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting process as well as monthly opportunity and risk updates to the guidance forecast
  • Provide analytical support to Mergers & Acquisitions activity.
  • Other projects as assigned by business leadership.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required, MBA or Master's Degree preferred
  • Strong analytical based decision maker with a core business process focus
  • 7+ years of demonstrated Finance, Accounting and FP&A leadership preferably in a multi-unit setting (healthcare preferable but not required)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
  • Deep understanding of financial analysis and reporting, key business metrics, forecasting, and annual budgeting
  • Must be results-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team environment as well as to lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills including successful leadership of projects from planning phase through completion
  • Must possess innovative leadership, communication, delivery, consultative, partnership, and team building skills
  • Ability to travel as required

Compensation

  • An attractive compensation package comprised of base salary, annual performance bonus, benefits and equity will be constructed to attract outstanding candidates.
