Team Lead Patient Scheduler needed to work full-time at our corporate office in Maitland, FL scheduling patients for multiple dermatology offices.

Position Summary:

The Team leader is responsible for managing a team of 17 to 20 employees taking/scheduling in-bound calls for new and existing patients, all across the nearly 200 offices & affiliates of Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery.  Team Leaders maintain qualitative and quantitative scheduling results, while implementing call center processes that support company objectives.  The Team Leader will also provide scheduling information and consultation to managment and staff, while resolving patient inquiries and/or scheduling concerns due to insurance verification or other conflicts at the office of the provider.  The Team Leader ensures that each team member meets and complies with all company policies and procedures, and is responsible for skills training, up-training, employee development, satisfaction and retention.


Team Lead role will  also include several administrative functions including provider guidance updates, minor templating adjustments, scheduler communications and other assigned duties.

  • Related Work Experience 6 months to 1 year customer service/patient care experience preferred.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical scheduling experience.
  • Knowledge of NextGen System.
  • Work a flexible schedule that provides needed coverage for patient service levels and/or time-sensitive projects.  Flexible schedules may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Doctor's office experience preferred.
